DELIVERIES

Our Commitment to Reliable Delivery:

We understand that timely and secure delivery is crucial. That’s why we offer a competitively priced, nationwide delivery service. We prioritize transparency, ensuring our product prices remain competitive by clearly separating delivery charges, which are calculated based on the weight and size of your order.

Standard Delivery Times:

• Typical Dispatch: Most in-stock orders are dispatched within 7 working days of order placement.
• Delivery Window: Standard deliveries occur between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

 

Special Order & Large Item Deliveries:

• For special orders, large-format tiles, slabs, some bathware, and sizeable orders, we utilize specialized off-load vehicles. These deliveries may require extended lead times.
• We will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date to accommodate your schedule.

 

Delivery Options & Charges:

• Standard Delivery: Our standard delivery is to the nearest safe and accessible point to your property, typically the kerbside or driveway, at the driver’s discretion. (Kerbside / Tail Lift – Manual Trans Pallet)
• Premium Delivery Options:
  • For specific morning, afternoon, or timed deliveries (where available), an additional charge will apply. Please contact us for pricing and availability.
• Delivery vehicle details
  • Please be aware that deliveries are made using large lorries.

 

Preparing for Your Delivery:

• Access Requirements: It is essential to inform us of any access restrictions, such as narrow roads, overhanging trees, steep gradients, or gravel driveways, before placing your order. This will ensure a smooth delivery process.
• Receiving Your Order:
  • A responsible adult must be present to receive, inspect, and sign for the delivery.
  • The driver is unable to assist with unloading or moving the goods beyond the designated delivery point.
  • Please arrange for sufficient labour to safely move the products.
• Packaging: Most orders are securely packed in wooden crates or on pallets and shrink-wrapped for protection.
• Storage:
  • Please move the materials to a dry, covered area as soon as possible to prevent damage from weather.
  • Ancillary products must be stored in dry conditions.
  • Tiles should be stored vertically (on edge) and not on a hard surface.
  • Please remove any banding and spacers before lifting tiles.

 

Inspection & Reporting:

• Immediate Inspection: Carefully inspect your delivery upon arrival.
• Reporting Discrepancies: Any shortages, damages, or discrepancies must be noted on the delivery note and reported to us within [Specified Time Period, e.g., 24-48 hours]. Refer to our Terms and Conditions for detailed reporting procedures.
• Extra/Broken Tiles: Your delivery may include extra or broken tiles for bracing purposes. These will be noted on your delivery note.

 

Tracking your order:

• Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information via [Email/SMS/Phone].

 

Failed Delivery attempts:

• If a delivery attempt fails due to no one being present, or due to access issues that were not previously reported, a redelivery fee will be charged.

 

COLLECTIONS

Collections can be made from our Warehouse at BN18 9PY by prior arrangement (normally with a minimum of 2 working days’ notice and only by prior arrangement).

 

Important Information:

• Loading: To ensure the safety of our staff and your goods, we can only load pallets using a forklift. Due to insurance restrictions, we are unable to load tiles by hand onto your vehicle.
• Alternative: If you prefer to load the tiles yourself, we can leave the pallets next to your vehicle for you to load manually.
• Order Details: Please confirm the weight and quantity of pallets with our office before arranging collection to ensure you have the appropriate transportation.
